This programme provides graduate-level education in research ethics to researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders in post-Communist countries in Central/Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Some helpful resources on the site include syllabus and full-course downloads for three online classes, International Bioethics, International Research Ethics 1 and International Research Ethics 2,  as well as translated materials (with more to come). The program at present consists of six levels: Module 1 - Introduction to research, Module 2 - for Research Ethics Committees, Module 3 - Informed Consent, Module 4 - Good Clinical Practice, Module 5, HIV Vaccine Trials and national supplements. The national supplements  are country-specific and provide access to the applicable legislation and regulations on research in that country. There are currently ten national supplements (Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Germany, Switzerland), and six more regional modules (South Africa, Portugal, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania and Taiwan). The first three modules are available in Deutsch, English, Français, Português and the national supplements are available in whichever of these four languages are relevant for the context.  Versions in简体中文 and Polski are currently in preparation.
